Detective Richard Wistocki had been with a western Chicago suburban police department for twenty years. He spent his first five years in the patrol division and the remaining years in the Youth Investigation Division and Internet Crimes Unit. In 1997 Rich became part of the newly formed Internet Crimes Unit. Rich's current assignment is to handle Internet Crimes involving Children. He was responsible for developing the protocol on the newly formed Child Abuse Response Team (CART). In his last ten years as an Internet Crimes Investigator with a western Chicago suburban Police Department, he has forged numerous partnerships with the community and other Law Enforcement Agencies. He is one of the original affiliate members of the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). He has taught members of the Illinois Attorney General's High Tech Crimes Bureau. He is a member of the United States Secret Service Computer Crimes Task Force and is an instructor in computer crimes investigations for the Illinois Suburban Law Enforcement Academy. Rich's passion is concentrated in teaching parents how to parent their children while online.
